Online Payments
Wiscasset Water District offers two online payment options.
In addition to the options below, we also have a drop box at the district office for your convenience.
Government Window
Use the Government Window payment portal if:
- You know the account number and the last name on the account
- You want to make a one-time payment -OR- set up automatic payments
- You want to know your current balance
Tenants will need the account number and the property owner’s last name. If you need help finding this information, please contact the district office.
Payment Fees:
- ACH/eCheck: $2.95 per transaction
- Credit card: 2.5% per transaction
Maine.gov PayPort
Use the Maine.gov PayPort if:
- You do not know your account number and prefer to pay using the service address or account holder’s last name
- You want to make a one-time payment
- You already know the amount you need to pay
Enter the service address or account holder’s last name in the account number field. Please note that PayPort does not display your current balance and may cost more than other payment methods.
Payment Fees:
- Transactions up to $40: $1
- Transactions over $40: 2.5%
PayPort Service Notice:
Maine.gov PayPort is a voluntary third-party payment service provided by InforME. InforME remits the designated portion of your payment to Wiscasset Water District, while the remaining service fee supports Maine.gov online services. The final cost may be higher than other payment methods. This service is provided pursuant to M.R.S.A. Title 1, Chapter 14.
